i was going to cut the front of the seat track and weld in some new metal. then i thought why not try to swap the tracks? drill out the nuts on the new seat and adjust the turnbuckel to were it has a little slack in it but not to much to let the seat slide on the tracks bolt it in and you are done. i talked to someone at mustangsunlimited about the bucket seats that where installed in these trucks. he said that the seat itself with no hardware on it is the same. the only diff. is where the **** to make the seat tilt foward would be on the same side. if you had 2 pass. side seats the **** would on your right side for both the driver,s side and the pass. side, or if you had 2 driver,s side they would be on the left side. just buy the silder for which ever seats that you have a pair of.
Very nice man! Wish I could've found one of those.
Found mine at a local U-pull it yard! Nice thing is, it bolts right up to the 68 seat tracks, and uses the original holes in the floor!
That one you have looks nice, though! Hey, you can always swap it out if you find another you like later! I think the seat tracks are the same up to the 96's.

I don't remember where I read it on here but I have heard they fit all the way up to a '99. You could be right I don't know, either way, there are tons of options.
