The PO actually ran a screw thru the existing one to keep the bezel down. In the process ruining the switch and the bezel. I need a new one if anyone has one. I bought one off of ebay that I thought was for my truck but its for the 97 and up and only just looks like ours. I was wondering if anyone ever adapted their harness to use the 97 and up mirror control switch. It looks like an easy process.

 

I have not but I'd try the junkyard yard for both parts first. Probably get both for

 

Most junkyards in the Houston area have gotten rid of their older cars. I collect and I have had to use ebay and sources for years to get parts.

 

LKQ pick a part has plenty of older ford trucks and cars. The mirror switch was used across the cars and trucks commonly in the 92-98 era. There are 3 pick a part LKQ yards in Houston.

As for the bezel, if you own a crew cab I sell the reproduction bezels, and ford Supercab and single cab trucks, there's tons in LKQ.
