Well I just had a new pcm installed. Figured I'd quickly reinstall my TS chip. Well I was wrong . I can't get the pcm out of the truck like before . I unscrewed the 10mm bolt under the hood. And all the stuff holding the pcm in. I ended up pulling as hard as I could it pulled the rubber grommet that the wiring and all goes through but Pcm is still connected to . I can't figure it out how to get those two things apart so I said screw it and tried to get the wax layer off the connectors didn't seem to have any so I used a scotch pad to clean it and it seems to be clean enough but once it's all plugged in an all I have just cranking. So i took the chip off and just plugged the pcm in and it starts. So maybe it's not clean enough on the connecting spot?
Either the connection isn't clean enough or...the TS chip will have to get re-calbrated to your new PCM, when I got my chip I had to send in the code off my PCM...

I have the connections cleaned like before even looked up the dp chip instructions and my board looks just like that one . But my guess is it's the code. I never sent in my pcm code guess I got lucky when I bought it from xdp. But my code is abj0 on this new Pcm and my paper work from swamps said the chip was programmed for a pmt but idk what my previous one was
You have to have the chip reburned to the new PCM code
👍👍. What I figured didn't click to I had the bed pcm cleaned and it just wouldn't start but I emailed swamps but in also considering a sct live wire. Only concern is it plugs into the obd2 port? All the time? My concern is I know when I go to scan my truck if it's running and I hook up it shuts the truck off and won't start till its unhooked
