I'm done rebuilding the engine on the 70 (posting that up as soon as she runs down the road!), so it's time to drive it off. Only problem is, my tires are ancient and they're not exactly DOT legal, based on the stampings on the sidewalls. So, what are your favorite highway tires for an F250? I don't want aggressive offroad type stuff, since it's a 2wd that is less mud bogging more pavement pounding. I'll tow trailers occasionally and prefer quiet and smooth ride if I can get it. I'm looking at some Michelin LTX MS 2 tires if that gives an idea of what I'm looking for.
Those seem to really go the miles. They don't hold up to the sun very well as they tend to crack with az sun. We get alot of them in our shop that tread is great they're just cracking to the point of needing replaced. Great tire if your doing lots of driving.
I use the Michelin LTX MS2 tires up here in WYO. The sun is even stronger than in AZ because of the altitude. They perform great as highway tires and even do well in the snow. I think the AZ problem might be more due to the heat because I'm not having any sidewall problems in WYO.
I'm not going to do a massive amount of driving, I'll probably end up warrantying them for cracking long before the tread wears out. But as long as the tires perform well and are decently quiet and comfortable, I can deal with that.
The BFG's would be great except I'm not a fan of the style. I know that's supposed to be secondary in a tire choice, but it's true haha

It's the same style as the michelins you posted so I'm not sure what you mean?
