Tow question

I towed my 30' 6600# (curb weight) travel trailer last weekend. When I got it up to highway speed the truck started vibrating. Each time I got it up to 65 MPH it would vibrate. After turning off the OD (read a lot of guys do this when towing) it ran fine. I ran 65 on the way down and got about 8 MPG and almost 11 MPG on the way back running 60. My door tag says I have a 3.73 rear and 4R75E transmission. Do I need to tow with the OD off or do I have another problem surfacing?

Tenn is not flat. Probably a good idea to keep it out of OD when towing over 6000 #.

I was going south to Enid, MS. Not exactly flat, but not the TN mountains either. That trip will be this summer.
