I am looking for a few pieces of my dash. I have tried the salvage yards around here and looked online. eBay hasn't provided me with what I need yet. Does someone have a part number for the bezel around the radio and the panel around the defroster switch? I would love a blank for the defroster as I have plans for this area. I will eventually go to the dealer if I need to.
If memory serves, the rear defrost switch area (the flat spot around the defrost switch) is snapped in and varies depending on the options your truck has.
Also, while an SD part may fit (they're used on eBay) they have the air bag shut off area that Exs don't...
Whatever they made these bezels out of is turning out to be some brittle garbage. Thankfully mine is black and matches JB quick weld quite nicely. I think the biggest issue with a replacement is loosing the Excursion badge, so I repaired mine.
The badge comes off. It's on a thin piece of metal with an adhesive. I think a tab goes into a slot on the back. I pulled mine when I painted my dash bezel and put it back...
Would be nice if some company started manufacturing them in Oem colors. I think B&I does the wood grain. I believe it's only select pieces. The website is not mobile freindley
