Cat Noise
I have a 2002 F-250 with the V-10. It has 49000 on it . The Cat has just been changed because when I test drove it the Cat was making a vibrating noise. Well to make a long story short it is doing it again. I just bought the truck and two days after it was changed it started again. It is worse when the engine is under load ( like pulling a load) and is intermitten otherwise. It's a tinny noise with some popping. Something must be making it resonate. It doesn't do it when sitting still reving the engine. I thought it may have been the heat shield but the Cat is brand new. I do have some warrenty and will be taking it into the shop but thought I would give them something to look for. Any ideas!
