This trucks a nightmare

Bought an 03 6.0 superduty f350 6 month ago. Drove it off lot check engine light came on 60 miles after purchase. Dealer send it in to get checked egr code p0401 i believe showed. This was not what they fixed. They replaced the engine oil cooler. A month later get hard starts first start of day only. Back to dealer. New altenator, high pressure oil pump, icp sensor. We cleaned the egr valve. Then after towing our 37ft toy hauler from los angeles to las vegas notice decent size oil spot on groung at back of driverside front wheel well. Look up there is oil on the frame pretty heavily. Could this be related to any of the previous work already done. The oil cooler change in october of 2015, hpop done 2 weeks before the drive to las vegas in march 2016. Noticed leak right after the long towing drive. We are headed into utah back country. Worried about this.

Welcome to FTE. I move this to the engine specific section. You should get better pin-pointed help here.

I am no help for your problems but I can tell you this. The 6 litre is not very tolerant of inexperienced or halfhearted repairs. The pros will be able to point you in the right direction. Don't buy into the ` 6.0 is crap`. You have a great platform that obviously need COMPETENT trouble shooting and repair. You will get alot of good trouble shooting here. Also live data is a must for these guys to help you. Good luck

I'd check valve covers and the CCV pipe. Check these first.

Look around the oil cooler too, might be the gaskets, turbo feed/return or the sending unit.

Climb up on the motor and shine a flash light down behind the oil filter cap. Looking to see if the valley between the heads are wet. Could be icp or ipr leaking both are replaced when doing the HPOP providing a dealer did it. The great thing about towing something that heavy for the first time the 6.0 will show you where the leaks are. Happen to me when I pulled my 39' fifth wheel up to Panquitch Utah
