Hopefully you are in or near a big town so you can do your shopping. I know you are in IL but don't know where. By the way, did you read my post of filling out your biography???
From these posts it looks like anywhere from $40.00 to $200.00. Since these answers probably aren't from the town you live in, this just gives you a ball park figure.
You need to let your figers do the walking and check out upholstery shops that can do this kind of work. While you're at it call the local salvage yards and get prices for a replacement seat. Once you have found the lowest price from a reputable source, buckle down, pay your money and get it fixed.
Bubba says SMOKING CAN BE HAZZARDOUS TO YOUR BILLFOLD.
yeah thanks bubba. basically ive been looking for a ballpark of what i can expect. the owner of the car is gonna get an estimate then im supposed to pay it. no one can say for sure that the burn is from me but since i was sitting there, they blame me. ive definitely learned how hazardous it is...just been goin through a rough time lately...anyways thanks again...
Of course I don't know all the details, but if I knew for sure that I didn't burn the seat I would just say so and refuse to pay. There is probably more to it than you have said and that's okay, cause you didn't ask if you should pay or not, you just wanted an idea of how much it would cost.
By the way, I was born in Streator, IL. You've probably never heard of it. It's between Ottawa and Pontiac and about 70 miles south of Chicago. I still have a twin brother who lives there.
basically i just wanna get it over with and move on with little trouble as possible
ive heard of streator...ive been through ottawa before..a couple months ago actually..went on a lil road trip to get a hood for my stepdads 62 impala we're restoring..he needed my truck to haul the hood back..of course the ford had to haul the chevy parts. i live in the quad city area, near the mississippi.
