need help diagnosing

So usually when its hot my excursion idles wierd. It will idle like 1000 rpm then fall n it will b all over the place but it doesnt do it consistently. Sometimes not for a couple days. Sometimes when im at a red ligh on the brake it will idle up n wanna pull . Also if i get on it n floor it it will take off then kind of hesitate at high rpm. my edge showed a code for cylinder 5 but the shop hooked it up to computer n injecters tested fine. N then somedays it jus runs perfect. So all n any help or input will be greatly appreciated.

Benny is talking live data gauges. ICP IPR MAF VGT IAT IAT2 EOT ECT
and a few others.

When I have some time later tonight I can pull the PC/ED book and look
at the testing that needs to be done if I can find a problem that matches
what you telling us. But please keep posting about what you have done and
found. The more info the better the chance of finding a fix.

You need a new FICM, if it is running less than 45 volts, when cold, call Ed at FICMRepair. It's possible there are other issues but I would start with that. This likely what is messing things up and why it is intermittent.

I agree. Your FICM is in need of replacement or repair. Also, what is your ICP DESIRED data, compared to your ICP ACTUAL under the exact condition you've described above? That almost sounds like your HPOP is weak as well by the numbers given.

But it Looks like you need a FICM and HPO Work and maybe alt or Batterys but lets see what it shows
your numbers were not tested correct Im talking HPO numbers

Take the HPO numbers with hot truck A/C off in Park
for ICP and IPR%

a Reading for both at Idle
ALSO
A reading for BOTH at 2500rpm

Do the same for FICM except Cold Truck
same at Idle and 2500rpm Get
FICM MP
FICM LP
FICM VP
VOLTS

If you can data log with the edge - you can e-mail me the file and we'll graph it up to get a clear picture:
