I am not familiar with the term "banded" as it pertains to wheels but for your offset I would suggest you measure the clearance you currently have between the tire and the bed side and use that as a guide to how far you can offset the wheel inward. You would be adding more backspace. If you opt to keep the width of the rime the same then you could measure the current rim, add the backspace, and determine the dimensions of the new rim in that manner. If you are changing rim size and/or tire width then you have some more math to work out.

I agree. The best way to figure out what wheels and offset you want is to use a straight edge and tape measure. I started with what tire I wanted, then what wheel width looked good with that tire, then measures to see if the wheel would fit with what back spacing.

I installed the adjustable hanger and the extended shackle, both from mid fifty. Easy to install and I really like the stance. Still plenty of room for the tube on my 9". I moved the front hanger up 1" on the frame too.

This article (website) does a pretty good job on explaining how to calculate the correct amount of backspace or offset: https://www.rsracing.com/TechWheel.aspx

I'm not sure what you mean by "banded wheels". I did find that when I bought wheels for my 52, that US Wheel provided pretty good technical support. At the time I was overspent on my overall project, so I went with some very plain black powder coated steel wheels. As it turns out they will set up a custom offset for a very inexpensive price add-on. A couple of years ago it was something like $5 per wheel on wheels that were under $60 each.

Regards,

Dan
