Is anyone here running SCT tunes from PHP, power hungry performance? They of course do almost everyone here's FICM tune. I'm thinking of going away from my tunes from Innovative diesel, at least my tow tune. I like the way it runs and shifts but there is just way to much smoke and it makes the truck stink. I do really like my street tune.
The local PHP dealer told me he only programs with PHP tunes, FICM and through an SCT.

I currently have an older 3015 hand held and have no interest in buying something else.

 

I run the the 80hp street and 65hp tow, little to no smoke, good mpg and great shifting. I also run KEM tunes but the mpg are better on the PHP, otherwise they are very similar.

 

I assume you are refering to the pre loaded tunes direct from SCT. When i previously used them a few years ago i thiught the tow dig ok but was not happy with how the street tow ran. Seemed a little rough especially coming of cruise control, not that i use that much.

 

No, PHP tunes. 80hp Daily Driver and 65hp moderate tow. The canned tow tunes run good as well, but PHP does a better job with the trans tuning.

Bill has been tuning Ford's for a long time and knows what he's doing. Great tunes!!!
