Turbo

Have a 1984 6.9 rebuilt to 7.3. Have a spare 1996 powerstroke turbo setup will it bolt up to my motor

No. Powerstroke vs IDI is completely different.
The turbo itself /might/ work, but you would need to make entire custom exhaust and intake piping.

as already said, no it will not bolt on. it will work, but it is going to cost you more to fabricate everything to make it work than it would cost to just buy a proper kit made for the IDI engine.

Their was a gentleman that put one on did lots of fabbing and stuff to make it work.

Ok i'll bite. Since Nathan didn't specify, I'll assume he has a truck. But if he had a van, then maybe it would be cheaper to fab up the up- and down-pipes and all the brackets, since a van turbo kit is nearly impossible to find.
