BTW the previous owner thought you could remove the controls with just a flat head.
I guess color bond was a match

looks much better, you could try very little bit of jb weld as a filler like bondo work on a car for the screw driver marks that is if it really bugs you not saying it does though but looks good wouldn't bug me at all
