Does anyone know if Ford has ever used this new 2006 Pewter Metallic color before on any other vehicle? I am trying to find the color anywhere on ANY model Ford that I can see before ordering an 06 Expedition...

 

I'll leave myself a note to check the old color-code charts in our parts department in the morning. I believe it's a brand-new color, but the Ford color code is HJ. Let me describe the color this way: Silver Birch is silver with a slight beige tint; Pewter is silver with a little Titanium Green in it.

 

No such luck- our paint books go back to 1993, and that code has never been used. There was a Medium Pewter once used on the Escort, but that's a much darker color than the Pewter they're using in 2006.
