Need advice!
Hello, I'm new to fords and need some help. I found a 2005 f250 with the 5.4 for sale. It looks pretty good and is fairly cheap. It has about 130,000 miles, the only thing that worries me is it has a ticking noise... When I test drove it It just seemed like an exhaust leak and I didn't really worry about it. But now I googled it and realized it could be a few things. The reason I think it's an exhaust leak is because I didn't notice it until I started driving, and it's loud under acceleration but not noticible when coasting. Does this sound like an exhaust leak? Or is it possibly the cam phaser tick? Is this bad enough that I shouldn't buy the truck? Thank you all!
