Plugged ebp sensor?
So I run a custom sct tune as my daily driver. Every 6 months or so my turbo starts acting funny. I get a weird turbo bark on wot. The shift pattern gets thrown off. It feels like something is about to break in a bad way.
But then it fixes itself. I return my truck to stock and run a couple laps down the highway. It blows smoke, stinks, and smells like something is burning for about 15 minutes then it is fine. I change it back to the custom tune and it runs fine for 6 months again.
Does anyone know what this is? Is this an egr valve or ebp sensor?

I too have been going through a similar problem. My monitor has been drawing the codes, p0460,p0472,p0463. Truck seems to do it very intermittently, which sounds the same as yours. but in the last two months I have went through 3 ebp sensors', one ebp tube, two pigtails and a map sensor. Let me know if you get the issue resolved.

Firgured it out. Called IDP today and asked them what was going on and they had me check my ECU strategy just for diagnosis and the strategy had been changed. The Ford dealership must have flashed my truck back in December and never mentioned it.
Should be getting updated tunes by the end of the day.
