Strange fob programmimg problem
I have programmed many a key fob on these guys. However, this is a new one.
Yesterday I would program a couple of fobs but then they would lose their connection..sometimes quickly as in a few mins another one today. All new All new batteries--.The stranger thing is I turn the key 8 times as yesterday but the door locks will not lock and unlock. So now it's like the X can't program a fob as it won't activate during the procedure whether I have a key fob or not. Any ideas???

Well answered my own question. Hunted a bit online and found this procedure.
Get in the vehicle, close the door then open the drivers door, unlock all doors from the drivers door while it is open, cycle the key 8 times on and off leaving it in the on position the 8th time...locks opened
Yesterday I did not have to do this. Are there gremlins in the machine?
