If you have the extra cash and want to spruce up the engine bay a bit here
I agree with this assertion, replacing an old degas tank with a new one really makes an engine bay look nicer.

If you can afford it, I suggest going with an OEM tank and cap. I've read where some people have reported leaks when they went with an aftermarket rez & cap.

When you say OEM do you mean a ford one or is the dorman fine? I bought the dorman myself and it's been about 8 months or so and it still seems perfect. Not disagreeing with you just asking if I'm missing something.

OEM = Ford
Aftermarket = Anything not Ford (including Dorman brand)
I've read posts the past few years in the 7.3L forum where guys have used aftermarket coolant reservoirs and they couldn't find a cap (including OEM caps) that would seal properly. They fixed the problem by replacing the rez with an OEM rez.
I'm not saying a person shouldn't buy an aftermarket rez or cap, just expressing an opinion that if a person can afford it, buy OEM to increase their chances of getting it correct the first time.
