Do have to double 90 at the bowl to get it straight up? Looks like in that picture the drain bowl arm will hit it straight up.
It will hit it straight up.The drain valve has to be removed to install fitting. That was as straight up as it would go before hitting.I don't think it will be a problem the way the sensor is angled. As far as doubling up the fitting,I guess it would work.

you can but I would suggest as minimal as you can as far as adapters, reason being is the more you have the more points of failure your introducing, while they may not fail often, the more you have (POF) the greater likely hood it COULD happen. remember in some cases less is more , this is just my view on certain things so your mileage and views may differ accordingly...
A lot accomplished yesterday. Fuel bowl and new fuel lines,Hpop, Frx,up pipes and pedestal installed
Now I have a question. Pass side hpop hose,I can't for the life of me figure out which end goes to the head and which to the pump,I'm probably over thinking this but I'm really frustrated by this.Any help is much appreciated. Thanks
And the saga continues, while fighting with the passenger hpop hose the tip of this sensor broke off, anyone know what it is offhand.Im so livid right now I can't see straight . I've just about had it with this truck. It might be for sale soon . I'm done. It was on the driver side near the alternator
just be mindful, if you have steel braided lines (i think they are fuel?) and your going after IPR you may want to add wire loom so you don't have your hands look like a cat scratched you up...
As for the ICP, I know it may be making you mad that it broke like that but think of it like this, at least its not leaving you stranded in the middle of no where with out your tools, your safe at home (i hope) and you can get another, plus if it didn't brake now it was bound to go at some point in the trucks life, usually when its most inconvenient....
