I'm just thinking you guys might be adding a lot of stress to the wheel bearings if you stick the tires way out and load them down good.
I don't thinknthat is true but then again I might be wrong. Sure we shouldn't do it but people do and I never heard anything like that except the lifting portion such as dually it messes with your towing but as far as spacers and wider tires nope never heard of that.
Well the factory setup runs the center of the tire on the center of the wheel bearings, you move everything out, it adds leverage. How much it affects it is hard to say for sure...

No argument there but my setup is still running it like factory with Hub Centric. No stress on the lug studs but yes wider so maybe it does put stress on bearing but I'll have to look into it. Not worried I'm not changing it back I'm pretty sire the setup is designed for added stress being a dually anyhow. And people customize all the time doesn't mean they should but they do and if done correctly I'm sure it will be okay.
If the inner wheel doesn't move, then the centerline of the pair of wheels only moves out an inch. Not nearly as bad as people who run -20mm or more offsets on 10" wide wheels on SRWs. A lot of people tow with lug centric aftermarket wheels, I don't think a dually running mostly empty will even notice.
yea Irish kept the front of his truck stock other than a larger tire. i understand most guys on here won't like my front setup, but i like it. as to how long it'll work that way before something breaks? only time will tell. as i said though, in my area, most every lifted truck has super wide wheels. 14" and 16" WIDE wheels with super negative offsets that stick nearly the whole wheel past the fender. so looking at my truck with the stock dually wheels looked weird to ME. but yea i may still switch it up with a smaller aftermarket front spacer so it sticks out, but just not as much. who knows. but i still do like my setup as it is.

this is what I see in my area on a regular basis. 14 and 16" wide wheels. and some guys run spacers on top of that! again most on this site aren't into this look, a handful are though. i'm in that handful. haha.
Mike i'm sure there's trucks with wheels this wide in california as well (not sure which parts though).
also check out my jeep. wide setups on wranglers are also VERY common in my area. i think i have one of the widest YJ wranglers in my area though, without spacers. everyone asks how wide my spacers are. i just had Pro Comp custom make 15x10 steel wheels with a 2.5" backspace haha.
before i put wheels on it. looked like a mail truck lol. i'm sure most of you would agree it'd look better with wider than stock wheels, but not as wide as my 15x10s on 33's are. but again, makes me smile when i park and look back as i walk away from it hehe
yea i think most people missed the part of my post with the pics saying i'm going to lift it eventually within the next 6 months 4 or 6" all around haha. most people saw the pics of my front setup and puked lol.
i actually follow that guy on Instagram with that green truck. its a 6.0 with a front end swap and i believe interior swap too. idk why he didn't finish it off with a new bed (notice the old style fender on the bed) unless that's an old pic. but incredible looking truck for sure!

I like the jeep, with wide stance but defiantly still would go higher . You still have it?
yep, shes an 87 with 80k original miles on the 4.2L 6cyl. was all original, still is other than wheel swap and i put a bikini top on it, as well as i have a hard top and full doors in case i want to take it out of town for a weekend, so i can lock it up/protect from rain/etc. i know i know...rain...its a jeep...but i don't like my interior getting rained on lol. people tell me i shouldn't have a jeep if i'm worried about it getting wet lol.

You got a lot of toys my friend I would build that up and tow it behind dually and go off roading
