Rough idle 2007 Ranger

Welcome to FTE.
You may have more than one problem, so scan the computer for pending & or set trouble codes & post up All code Numbers, as they can offer up good trouble shooting clues.
All that said, without more vehicle historical info, or code clues, put the IAC=Idle Air Control high up on your suspect list, as its responsible for controlling engine idle speed with changing engine loads & is a common problem Ford part with idle woes.
A bad vacuum leak that the IAC can't compensate for can also cause idle problems, so dry rotted vacuum lines, loose intake manifold fasteners, faulty intake manifold gaskets, dirty, sticking open PCV valve or dryrotted rubber plumbing to it, also belong on the suspect list. Some thoughts for pondering, let us know what you find.
