Insofar as sound deadener, how do you use her? If she's your commuter car, and you want it quieter on the freeways, then the choice is made. If you use her primarily to take you exploring the backwoods, then that won't be so important and only add weight.
I use my truck as my daily driver, and there are lots of things I could do to make it quieter, but I LIKE the noises mine has.
She is a daily driver and adventure vehicle. We like mud, sand, trails and being off the beaten path. I do enjoy listening to her tires and her engine. The sound off rocks and mud hitting her exterior when we are playing is wonderful!! I have bought all new seals, so maybe that will be enough to quiet down the air leak noise. It would be nice to be able to have a conversation inside her while driving without having to yell.
Long time no talk to friends! I havent been on in probably 6 years, sold my 05 in 2012.
I only see a couple names from way back when, but i'm glad to see at least one of these forum sites is still around. I was active on so many different forums from 2000 to 2012, as I know a lot of the guys/gals were. I made some good friends, a few i'm still in contact with too.
Anyhow, I just picked up a 2015 screw 3.5l EcoBoost. I'd like to roll back into the forms again.
Watching the news this morning about the 8 family members killed. Some believe it could be the Mexican cartel.
The news is reporting of the "Manhunt."
Are they assuming it's a man that committed the crime? In today's PC environment, shouldn't it be a "personhunt."
Just saying...cause now I need to use the restroom. I think I'll use the women's bathroom, just because I can.
