The longer you stick around the more you will come to know what Bill just said is completely true.
This forum has somehow had the knack of attracting and keeping some first-class, straight-up people that I've had the pleasure of being able to call my friends, now for almost twelve years.
Hey broncoprincess. Welcome to the forum.
Very nice folks here.
Been in Wash DC for the last 8 days working and finding great food and drink afterwards. The other night a friend and I found the biggest (by bottle count) whisky bar in the western hemisphere (Jack Rose). Tasted some great single malts and had wonderful food. Coming home tomorrow.
Hope all is well with y'all.
Hope your mom's ok Bill.
HeHe
I have that same picture in my phone.
I took a panoramic but haven't been able to access my email on the MacBook.
I'll load it when I get home because it truly is amazing. There is another wall to the left of that one.
Best whisky bar I've ever seen.
Thanks for the welcome!! Not sure if I will be able to come any get together for a little while. Baby Princess, my Bronco, is currently being rebuilt. It never amazes me the problems that come up with any work that she has ever needed. Am going through withdrawals and identity crisis without being able to see her every day. This is the first time we have been separated for more than an overnight since 2008. They are letting me visit and take a nap in her once a week so I shouldn't complain! Wish we could find the body parts we need, but it is just another adventure that I will appreciate more once it's over. MI cancer kills!!!
The bar is very cool!! Congrats on finding it. Hope your return is safe and you enjoyed your trip!
One nice thing about Kalifornia is used auto body parts are usually available for even old cars.
I cringe every time someone from the Rust Belt takes photos of what they are doing to their truck if it happens to involve the undercarriage. Brake jobs become exercises in iron ore mining.
By the way, you don't HAVE to drive a Ford into the park to attend. I believe last year we brought my wife's Honda Pilot.
That's assuming you can't beg/borrow/steal another ride to get there. Have a friend bring you. We'll feed them, too! :-))
Good times!

Give me the info and I will try to attend. Like I have said before, I am not a social butterfly and don't have any friends in CA. Well, to be honest, I don't have friends in general because I had always been too busy and haven't been able to find anyone to understand my attachment to Baby Princess. I do have another !996 Bronco, but it needs mechanical work and tires so I don't trust it yet. Just got in Feb and with Baby Princess needing beautification she ALWAYS comes first. Would love to meet people with similar interests!
How do I enter info in my profile and make it stay?
How do I find my way back to a thread after I leave and come back without having to go to my yahoo e-mail? I am so in to social media. NOT! Too technical.

I use the Control Panel. Find the link in the menu bar near the top of the forum, and click on USER CP (CP is for Control Panel).
Threads that you are subsribed to, and which have new posts, will be highlighted for you. Also in the Control Panel you will find all the settings to adjust the forum to your preferences.
Once you've found that, first thing I would do is turn off email notifications for new posts. If you don't, before long you will be swamped with emails. I still get one once in a while from a subscription that may be 10 years old. Best nip that early on.
THANKS BILL! I did it!! I am so proud of myself. However, I don't understand what any of the stuff to turn off or on mean. Plenty of time to figure everything out though.
Just found the bed I needed for Baby Princess!! The price is a steal!! So looking forward to getting her complete and taking a trip with her. Separation anxiety is killing me!!

Now that's some sage advice Bill, I coulda used it when I joined.
Thanks again for the welcome!
Advise the shop I want Baby Princess back so I can make the meet in May. He laughed and said he would try. I was extremely mad!
Go pick up her bed today!!! I am so excited!! Then I get to see her and maybe take a nap with her! That would so rock!!
Am at a junction where I need to decide if I want to put a rhino liner in her and then Velcro carpet. Should I put sound deadener in?
Any ideas or thoughts on what I could/should do to her would be useful. That may be ambiguous. Is there anything I should consider to improve Baby Princess before she gets rebuilt?
