390 stumper
My 390 sounds like it has a rod knocking. But I can not feel any profromace issues, plus id don't get loud like a rod knock does when I let off throttle. Any clues, changed e manifold gaskets

How is your oil pressure? Does the sound get louder/more forceful under a heavy load? Smoke? Does it change when cold or warm? Are you sure its not the fuel pump, because mine makes a tap tap tap noise.
