Guys I just thought I'd let everyone know about the sunroof problems. After a short time of my truck being closed up, I noticed a mold and mildew smell in my truck. After an attempt to get rid of the smell I had to take it to the dealer. They figured it out in no time, plugged sun roof drains. Once plugged they leak back into the cab. Overtime you'll develop the moldy smell. I had to have a company pull and dry the carpet, shampoo and ionize the interior. The smell seems to be gone.
I was told to run water from a garden hose through them (4) when cleaning the truck, the drains should be visible under the truck.
( all corners of the sun roof )
Dirt and leaves can accumulate, break down, and clog the drain lines. The 90's era Jeep Grand Cherokee's had the same problem.
Instead of trying to run water through the drains, I'd use compressed air and blow them clear.
Never leaked because I discovered it on time, but had the same issue with a 1998 Cadillac.
Sounds like something to keep track of on many of these things.

Just sayin.

The sun roof has a drain in every corner that clogged with dirt, leaves, pollen. General debris that you would get from sitting in the yard all the time.
We had an Audi of ours get totaled due to this. Torrential downpours left literally gallons of water in the back, unknown to my son. He came to a stop light, hit the brakes and all that water flowed forward and toasted the cars computer located under the driver's seat. Thankfully our insurance covered it.
This is a very common problem with almost everyones sun roofs. The American brands, European, Asian. Though the extent varies, the drains can all clog pretty easy.
Can't say I've dealt with the mold. I have known others to have smells. I never have had one car sit long enough though
