Maybe post a link or two to what you are finding? I did a quick search and saw one place that was bundling an "upgraded" (aftermarket) HFCM drain plug with the blue spring. It could be 6.4 banjo bolts are being bundled with something like above by somebody? Just guessing here...

For $110.00 bucks I wouldn't call it an upgrade, more like an upsell. jmho

just snug the screws up and try to apply near even pressure on each and it should be fine.
thanks for the response.

Happy to be of help, admittedly I have little wrenching experience on my 6.0...I have had great luck with it so far with very few upgrades and regular oil, fuel and air maintenance. I hope you fair as well.

Not a lot of difference. Here is a pic

Yup, the spring does stick up above the housing. You gotta put some pressure on the cover to keep it against the housing when installing the screws.

Pretty sure it's in good shape. Thanks
One more question on the kits with and without housing.
The kits i see without the housing do not come with the little white plastic part at the top of the housing which i believe is called the "Fixed Orifice" (gleaned from Rusty's Thread #16 post.

Is it worth getting the kit with the housing just in case this little white part is broken?

I apologize if I'm hijacking this thread.
