You would have 2 wires for tail & turn so you have to have a 3rd for B/U.

But the body? is listed as "Material: Polycarbonate/Acrylic" so who knows?
But still think the 3 wires are supply to lights and inside the light housing the sockets are grounded thru the mounting studs.
Kind of how the cheap boat trailer light kits are built with plastic housings.

Yes, that's exactly how they are built. nice looking units though. as far as durability I dint know .They seem to be identical to my originals.

I want to say I seen the flex thru LMC or Carpenter when looking over the sites.
Maybe one of the parts stores would have the flex and no not the split loom stuff.

Yea I don't know, I still have mine and they are not in bad shape I just cant get them off the plastic conduit the wires are in. its like they are made to be a part of the conduit, im scared ill destroy them taking them apart.

OK You may be right that they are all 1 part, all rubber right?

When you said that I remember seeing some like that, all 1 molded part and the "hose" is curved right?

I don't remember seeing anything like that on the sites I have been to but then again I was not looking for them either.
If in good shape I would reuse them or do as I posted store grommets and the conduit slipped into the grommet.
Think that is what LMC (link) has you doing.

Well, the hose is kind of a rubbery flexible plastic and the grommet really does look like two separate pieces. But the must be attached inside the grommet because I have pulled and pulled and pulled with no luck.

Like I said mine are in good shape just old and dirty looking. With this fresh paint job and new lights and reflectors and everything else, I just hate to put something old and dingy on it. You might be right though, the best thing may be to just find the right grommet at a hardware store. It won't be original but it will be clean that way.
