Yesterday placed order for flareside lens thru Obsolete/Classic Auto parts and noticed they carry the taillight assemblies for both. Believe they use to go by Obsolete Ford parts until FoMoCo made a stink; purchased numerous items from Obsolete Ford parts and always please w/ the quality, located in Oklahoma. Page 136 in their pdf online catalog. I just type in the page # in the page box and hit enter. http://www.classicautopartsonlinecat...kCode=fpu13flx

I need the long narrow ones. The only ones I found were for a bronco that has reverse lights in them. Bronco style is fine by me if ya'll think it will come out right?
65 2wd I didn't know there was a different style of style side except for the older refridgerator trucks

Backup lamps introduced in 1967.
Same right & left tail lamps: 1967/72 F100/350 Stylesides - 1967/74 Econoline Vans - 1967/77 Bronco's.
These lamps will work on 1964/66 F100/250 2WD's and 1966 F100 4WD Stylesides & 1966 Bronco, but...
These trucks and Bronco tail lamp wiring harnesses have no provision for backup lamps.

I called obsolete, Closed but I left a message. Probably be Monday. I am gonna buy the original B4 I go with bronco types. I Got a grip on all the reverse light have and have nots. I was wondering if I used the bronco type would it look right with the bulbs lit up or would some no it all be able to walk by and say "Hey those tail lights don't look right!"
Thanks for the help. I know I've been typing and surfing sights at the same time you have been posting and looking things up for me
The socket with pigtailed wiring is located in the lower section of the bodies with backup lamps. The backup lenses are incorporated into the tail light lenses.
These right & left specific parts bolt on without any mods to 1964/66 F100/250 2WD & 1966 F100 4WD Stylesides and 1966 Bronco's.

You might take advantage of the opportunity to obtain used original parts from members of the forum, such as 69supercj has offered. It might save you an extensive search. I have a pair as well if anyone is in need. So far, my experience on the buying and selling end of transactions through fte has been very favorable.

I emailed you some pics. They're in excellant condition and still have the factory zinc coating on them and the wiring is great as well. Look almost new.
