Ambient Air temp sensor 2000 e250

This is driving me crazy. Want to replace ambient air temperature sensor.

Can not find it. I thought it would be near the grille. It's not in the air box or air tube.

I took out the grille, there is a trans cooler and air cond condensor.
Anyone know where it is?
It's a V6 2000 e250. Thanks You

air temp sensor

No it looks like

E250 Econoline Sensor - Ambient Air Temperature - Best Sensor - Ambient Air Temperature Parts for Ford E250 Econoline

Supposed to be out front of the engine to measure air temp to set fuel ,mixture for weather conditions. pickup trucks have it by hood latch.

Thanks, Tim

Autozone's repair guide shows it in the air intake tube from the air cleaner.

ambient air temp sensor

No that is the intake air sensor. I do not have one in the air hose. mine is on the throttle body.
This is specifically for outside air temp. On the pickups and expeditions it's very obvious behind the grille. But this van it's not, Thanks Tim

I've never seen one on a van, and I've owned several vans. Does your AC controls have an outside temperature readout? If not, there is no ambient temp sensor.

I found a Dorman 902-021 but no application for a 2000 E250? Dunno.
