2000 4.0 OHV Air Temperature Sensor

Not sure about a 2000 but on my 95 4.0L OV E.B. the air intake temperature sensor is plugged into the rubber air intake tube, about 1/2 way between the air cleaner and the throttle body, with a 2 wire electrical connector.

I think it is part of the MAF sensor also but I am not sure. I know it is no longer installed in the rubber air intake tube. That is where I was originally looking for it.

Try a search on the air temp sensor. Here's a link to another forum which has lots of info. Also, the CD manuals available these days are very good .... got mine on Ebay.
