Got my BAFX adaptor today and pretty cool to play with. Is there already a list for the 6.0 out there that has most of the pids for diagnostics or do I need to start loading them? Right now I'm just using the lite version.

I don't know what all is different for the free version, but it is only $4.95 for the Pro... And in it I do know you want to load the Ford specific PID set before you do much else. When I 1st loaded it (years ago), there were still issues with Trans Temp and Boost, but they be fixed by now. It is a nice tool...
Well apparently I don't know how to set up the pro app correctly. I have the device paired with my phone but when I plug it in and open it it will not talk to the ECU until I open the real time mode. None of the Ford PIDS are available though. I have no errors but I had 39 errors and counting. That's when it is not talking to the ECU.
Yeah. I think I have something wrong with my set up maybe. Any one have a snap shot of their profile? Also are you turning your key on before starting the app?

In settings, did you go to Manage extra PIDs, add predefined set? Then pick the Ford incl. Power stroke one.
You then have to add them to your live data monitoring screen one by one.
Did that. None of the pids highlight green though so I can add them. What protocol am I suppose to use in my profile? The Lite version I got to work with no problems the other day. Must be something I have wrong.
Interesting it worked with the lite version. I'd still go into adapter settings and make sure it is set to Bluetooth, you can slow down the query speed as well. It sounds like something in there.
Also: I do start Torque first on my phone before turning key on. I have had connect problems, say on a trip, where it is working fine, stop for fuel and start back up and Torque is not connecting, so try it in that order as well: Torque 1st then truck start...

Oh I can add displays, gauges, but only the ones that are highlighted green and they seem to be useless ones like "torque to wheels". EOT and others though aren't available. How do you slow the query down?
Making progress. I had to change the protocol to automatic rapid scan in my profile. It hooked right up to the ECU then. But, not all the sensors will stay active. Some of them will update then go off and stay off. Any ideas?
