Repair the OEM radiator
The original radiator in my 1976 F350, super cab camper special 460 developed its first leak in 2015. The radiator shop recommended that I re-core it, and that’s what I did. Find me a new radiator today that will last 39 years. I’m the original owner of this truck and it has been maintained well, one might say it has been babied (79k miles). Coolant system was flushed every 3-4 years. That probably helped the radiator survive. Since selling my Holiday Rambler slide-in camper in 2005, this truck has not had too work very hard.

How interesting that I join this forum a few days ago and now my radiator is leaking ... a cheap aluminum/plastic that was obviously put in before I got it. The clamps of the aluminum don't seem to be crimped enough on the plastic sides. When it's cold out (-10F to 10F above) it starts leaking just right after there's some pressure built up. Never noticed that before because I haven't driven this truck in the cold before. Maybe that's why the previous owner didn't either ...
