So done with this!
Specs: 08 F350, 210k miles, tuned with HS Mini Maxx, down pipe, intack, deletes etc.
Had some 55w HID headlights, everything was working great for years until the left light would click off and on occasionaly.
Replaced the entire assembly, left and right just because they were getting pretty hazy from road grime (big mistake)
Since then, my lows would not click on unless is clicked back and forth from low/high beam...then it stopped working, just had high beams
replaced bulb/converter, still nada. no lows on either side.
Taking the box out so many times, i ended up breaking most of the tabs (thanks China) so i bought a new assembly...no HID, simple plug in to existing harness and go.
JUST HIGH BEAMS!
all other lights work fine, blinker, markers, fogs, highs, interior etc
Checked fuse 7/8 and everything is good, im getting 12Volts there with a multimeter.
Checked harness at the front, im getting 12V on the orange/blue wire on the harness only when its not plugged in to the light. when its plugged in, nothing
added a little clip to the bare wire before the plug thinking the plug might be damaged, but when i hook it to the light, nothing
Ive read about the SJB, seems like when someone fixes the problem, they dont reply on what was done and what not
kill me...or help fix the lights...those are the only two options :/
