relay headlamp problems
Years ago I installed a relay headlamp harness on my 2000 F350 drw dually 7.3/4.10 4 x 4. At the time the passenger side light was dim and I was thoroughly annoyed at chasing it. The Relay harness I purchased lasted over 6 years.... but now I have relay issues and can't read any numbers on the relays. Right now I have no brights and dims I have to flick the dimmer back and forth a few times to get.
The harness I had before plugged into an existing headlamp plug that was disconnected from the light, that plug fired the relays which had new bulb sockets and the cross harness to replace the factory plug that was wasted on the passenger side.
I see the Innova brote box, but it does not appear to have a cross radiator support harness from the drivers side to the passenger.
I like the relay lamps function, I just want to get one I can actually find relays for. Is this a build it myself thing? I did look on Guzzle's page but he does not have a stancor headlight mod.....only stancor glow plug.
Talk to me, who has a decent relay harness.

The relays are very common, grab one off and take it into the auto part store. Or yank the HVAC relay off the fuse panel, could be the same.
For a decent new harness try Dfuser. GOS use to make a good one but last I looked it was no longer carried.
I recently got a $20 Amazon version for the wife's Subie. Ceramic headlamp plugs so they won't melt like the factory bits, but the wire gauge is small. Works fine but next time (and there probably will be a next time) I'll make my own.
Some years ago I was Netscaping a fix for the flickering headlights on my dent side camper special. Discovered FTE and a harness how-to, whipped up a stout unit that really helped light up the road. That how-to seems to have been modernized out of existence tho, cannot find it today.
