Neither of my reverse lights are lighting up when I but the truck in reverse.
I checked the fuses and they are all fine, bulbs look fine, but Im not getting power to them....
I have an auto tranny, is there a switch or harness I need to check? And how do I do that?
Have someone watch the lights while you slowly move the shift from P to N to see if the light up. The switch(TRS) could be out of adjustment or bad, the shift leaver bolts could be loose or bad wires
Ok, so I just jumped #6 and #7 on the harness and the lights worked. Did a video of me switching through gears and the lights will flicker. The MLPS looks new from when the tranny was rebuilt... I also noticed I cannot get into 1st gear.
So... I guess it is an alignment issue? How do I go about aligning it are there marks?
Great photo Mike ! Also great advice I agree with even you had just said. When I had an issue like this years ago it was all of the above. Since you posted this photo of the torx bolts I am going to go and recheck them today hopefully they haven't loosen up any. I don't think so but it can't hurt to check also if I recall correctly I used blue loctite on them when I did it about 5 yrs ago.
