They measure a tick over 35".

The rub the springs at full lock and just touch the inner fender.

After the dual winches / bumpers I've probably dropped a 1/4". I'm wanting to raise it one more inch.

Pics for reference.

I would have preferred the toyo mt in a 285 75 18. It's an almost 35" tall tire but narrower. That tire in a set was 500 more than my cooper stt pros.

I'm not really into big lifted EX's so that would have been a great compromise.

BUT I think with an extra inch it'll be looking real good.....
Did you go with 04 Harley 18s? Or adapters? If adapters which brand?

Looks awesome!

Thank you, as Mecdac linked to there are lots of info on the details, but yes they are OEM 2004 Ford wheels. No adapters needed.

I scored the Correct OEM lugnuts off Ebay as well. The earlier 2 or 3 years of the EX uses a different bolt pitch and these lugnuts won't work.

I remember a member discovered using some Lightning ones or something to get the correct Acorn exposed type lugnuts for the earlier EX'S.

STROLL the tech folders there is tons of useful info there.

I forget myself to check in on them too but they're very resourceful.

Thank you for the response. I've got the technical differences down. I just wasn't sure which direction you went in and missed whether they were 18s or 20s. I was asking purely from the appearance side. I've gone cross eyed researching this lately. I have had my X since 02 bought 1 month old with 5k on it. I just put studded snows on the factory Rims for plowing this year. So it's a great excuse to have a summer set and justify it past the DW. ☺

Thanks again!

Keith
