I am looking at a used 2016 Super Duty, 4X4, 6.7L Crew Cab, 12K miles XLT Trim, 6.5 bed.
If I look up the Payload Chart on the Ford website it lists the payload at 3100 lbs, however when I look at the payload sticker on the truck it shows only 2323 lbs
FYI, the GVWR is the same on both the Payload Chart and the VIN sticker at 10,000 lbs.

What gives?
The payload chart on the Ford website is for generic model truck, it doesn't take into account options that are added at the factory and the dealer. The sticker on the truck is based on the weight of the truck as it left the factory. It doesn't take into account any options added by the dealer (or the actual weight of the driver and passengers).
