Chances Axles are the same??
I have a 91 F-250 4X4 5.8 automatic, I have a chance to get a 91 F-250 4X4 chassis that had a 5.8 with manual trans. I haven't actually seen chassis yet just wondering what the chances are the axles are the same. I know the rear is the same my main concern is the front, I am hoping that maybe I can just swap the third member part out instead of swapping the whole front assembly. Reason for swap is I have 3:55 gears and I want 4:10's.

could be either a dana 44, or a dana 50. the only way to know is to look at it.
i have seen two identical F-250 4X4 351 auto trans trucks, speced identical, one serial number apart, and one had a 44 the other had a 50.

Also I think I told you before but want to again anyways I love the your sig pic. My dad was a police officer for 21 years....yes there is a few bad apples but you have those in any part of life. As dad always said just listen and do what a cop tells you and your gonna be alright.

One good thing about the dreaded "everything is shared with the world" cell phone era that we live in....it does keep people honest.
Problem is, I don't want a ticket every time I run a red light or speed....a camera on police officers (lookin like it's headed that way in a lot of the country), forces them to act like robots and write tickets they may not have otherwise.

my father was a special officer for 50 years.
3 uncles were lifetime officers, and my cousin is currently a Lieutenant.
i come form a long line of police officers.
