Hello From Baton Rouge

Good evening! New member from Baton Rouge, LA. I'm a retired sales rep and spend most of my time working on cars, boats or motorcycles. I do a little fly fishing in the bayous, rivers and salt marsh occasionally, but not as much as I did in previous years. I also like to ride my bicycle around the neighborhood as an enjoyable form of exercise. I've been married for almost 51 years now and have two grown children and one grown grandson. I also have about 20 grand-dogs!!

I've been working with/on cars and trucks for about 55 years now as a hobby. My most recent project has been a 77 Mercedes 300D sedan. It's a very nice daily driver now. My daughter, her son and I have just acquired a 49 F1 in pretty darn good condition and will start making changes/upgrades to it soon.

I've been lurking on the F1 sub-forum for a while and joined a few days ago. I'm really having fun learning about these old trucks. I'm sure I'll have a lot of questions later on, but for now I'm just going back to the early pages here and reading everything I can find.

Thanks for letting me join in on the fun here!!
