Hello to all...
My name is Gar, I joined the site about 40 minutes ago. Having a bit of trouble navigating how the site is laid out but this is the first step I've accomplished : introduction. I've joined on behalf of a good buddy who just bought a 1952 F-1. Two reasons for that, 1 - I'm more of a car guy than he is, and 2 - he has little experience with using a computer. ( We're both old guys ). The truck is a non-stock build ( late 60s / early 70s 302 engine, Edelbrock intake and carb, headers, newer Ford AOD trans, Ford 9-inch rear ). All of that key stuff is done, but the truck was purchased as an "unfinished" truck. The original cab needs some attention. I've been following the threads you guys have posted over the years for a week or 2 now, and I'm impressed with the wealth of combined knowledge I've discovered here. Thought I'd join up and hopefully draw some guidance from some of you old F-1 owners. Tell me which forum to ask my first question in, and I'll go there. It's about door latch assembly re & re.
