OK - I have a 1979 Bronco with a red interior. The interior itself is not that bad, its just that everything is faded. The door panels are in excellent condition (no cracks or scratches, or missing mounts) and they're original so I want to keep them - Can anyone tell me the correct dye to use to "recondition" these door panels, I want it be as close to factory original as possible.
Hey there flossyb20 and welcome to FTE!
I can only advise you to do to a Ford Dealership, over to the collision shop and ask one of the guys there. They may even have something left over you can have....
Good luck and we'll talk with you later....
Take the code off your data plate to them and they will Mix up the Vinyl /Platsic dye you need in a can ready to go.
You purchase the *PREVAL* Aerosol system to do the job.
I have done close to 10 interiors with this system.
