I installed a 4" lift on my truck and I noticed after the install I took the truck on a drive and when I let the clutch out and give it throttle I feel a shutter/vibration while I start driving and the same thing in second gear. It happens under load. Any thoughts ? It did not do this before the lift. I was thinking carrier bearing maybe ?
So it's an F-250 ("Powerstroke" is the engine, not a model).
The diff/pinion and t-case output should be parallel. If the lift didn't have any effect on the angle of the t-case output, the diff pinion angle should not be changed either. When they're parallel, the two u-joints operate at the same (or complementary) angles, and the speed-changing effects of the u-joints cancel each other out.
