Burned Clutch
I couldn't find anything on here about clutches, so I figured I would ask. Our trucks came factory with a dual-mass clutch, but the previous owner installed a single mass clutch into the truck. Well, I burned it up today. Should i go back to the dual-mass system or stick with the single? I'm looking to get more power out of my truck, could a better clutch help? Any suggestion on what I should go with? I don't know much about this topic. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Our trucks came with a dual-mass FLYWHEEL. The CLUTCH is a single-DISC. The clutch and flywheel do have to be matched, but if it's just the clutch that burned out, and your single-mass flywheel is in good shape to be resurfaced, keep it. The DM flywheel is just another potential failure point.
