Mystery Wire!

Hello everyone, I'd like to get your opinion on this mystery wire. I bought this 1997 7.3 last Summer and I don't ever recall it being hooked up. The first pic is the terminal part of the wire and the second pic is what it's connected to close to the driver's side firewall. I put a black arrow pointing toward the gray box it's attached to. Any ideas what this is or goes to? Please attached.

Thanks!

I wouldn't worry about the one in the second pic, some models were equiped with options, the first obe looks like some one added a fuseable link at one point for something, follow it and see where it goes to.

probably had a high watt amplifier and sub woofer speaker setup at one time, and that was the power connection and fuse holder for it.
