Hello, My son's 06 F150 4x4 is experiencing something different, I think. He had to go down a muddy trail the other day, and used 4 hi. When he was done, went to return it to 2wd. He said it still felt like it was in 4 hi. Upon checking, I found the right side hub vacuum lines off...fixed.
2nd, When engaging in 4 hi, the indicator light will flicker once and not remain on. Then, when going to engage 4 lo, and light comes on and stays on, and truck is engaged in 4 lo.
Where do I start to check to find out why the 4 hi light will not stay on?
When the **** is pointed at 4 hi, you can tell it is engaged, but just no dash light.
