As someone on here said,'one thing will lead to another'. Well I am getting closer, time and money constraints. The engine is in, wiring and radiator to go. Spring is coming to the Northeast, not that we had much of a winter, and I want to go for a drive.
If you listen real close, you can hear the truck sigh as the motor slides into its engine bay. That is one happy truck, and why not, any truck would love to have that motor. It's gorgeous just gorgeous.

Thank you all for the kind words. It's been fun and relatively inexpensive project (key word relatively). So as promised here are a few pics of the final install and if I can do it, a video of the running engine. It sounds much better in person than on here, super smooth running!

On special dealership Ford cars in 1954 they had plexiglass section of the hood so people could see the new OHV 239 engine! These survivors are worth a lot of money today. I think there is a picture of one on the cover of Eichmans YBlock book.
