I don't have anything special to add, except Harbor Freight had a special on a 3200/4000 Generator and I picked one up today for $289. Post a pick later if you like but most of us know what they look like and all. I'm putting it in my trailer in storage for when I may need it. It will just stay brand new in the box
Yes I just like the idea of new sealed in the box lol and for the price even if I were to leave it that way and use it a few months down the road I'm savvy with small engines so not worried if I need to make adjustments or carbs tune up.
I do plan to open it and test run it though just don't have the time right now it was more of a impulse buy and price was right.
I didn't buy a extended warranty they wanted another $49 just for one year and nope not interested . Like I said small engines are my speciality so I'm not concerned. Unless the engine is siezed which I highly doubt the only other issue or could have is recoil. Besides any HF gen I have come in contact with were good units.
I bought a Harbor Freight generator 4 years ago and we've used it mostly for back-up power to the house. It has ran flawlessly. I'm very pleased with it. As reliable and starts as easy as the old Honda generator I had.
