Wow this got my attention! I sure hope someone will do this bus some justice.

 

A friend of mine sent me the eBay link a couple days ago...it's not my vintage but I'd love to have it!
I hope someone here gets it & does it up right!

 

That would make a real cool Motorhome conversion.

 

Hell, since it has the rare 4x4 option put the damn thing back in service. Then the little ba$tards don't need to make up any more snow days, ever.

 

The bus sold for a fraction over $4700 which to me was real fair. There was a Bonus Built 48-50 F-4 Marmon-Herrington school bus listed on eBay a while back that failed to meet reserve. As I heard it the seller was/still is asking something like $20 grand for it. There was a lot of interest, but not for that money. Stu
