Scrapping incomplete trucks

I will be pulling the rear-end, engine, and transmission out of a '92 F350 crew-cab and the engine and transmission from a mid-'80s F250. I'll want to scrap what's left over. Does anyone have experience with the local wrecking-yards buying partial trucks? Is there enough value remaining to get the wreckers to pick them up, or will I have to deliver them?

Just guessing, but if you can deliver you'll get more $$.

I wouldn't mind giving up the few bucks they might have paid in order to get them picked up instead of having to take them in.

The only issue you would have is with the one that won't roll, because of the rear diff missing. Might make it tough to load, depending on where it is. If they can back up to it, they will just winch it up on the flat bed, I think. Other than that, no problem with partially dismantled vehicles.

Depending on your tax situation, it may be smarter to donate it. Missing parts won't make much difference in the charitable value.

Have any plans for the front axel from the F 350? Id be interested in the axel and associated steering and suspension.
